Over 300 fashion and beauty influencers gathered at The Carlu in Toronto to celebrate Canada’s dynamic editorial and creative talent at the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards, hosted by Emmy nominated TV and film actress, Christina Hendricks.

“I’ve always loved Canada, and I feel honoured to be a part of such an important event, highlighting the incredible talent in this country,” says Hendricks. “My work regularly exposes me to the stylists, editors, photographers and artists who work diligently behind the scenes, and I know how truly deserving they are of recognition.”

The 2013 P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards attracted a record 316 submissions across 15 categories, including editors, writers, art directors, bloggers, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and new face models.

The chic soiree boasted a roster of renowned guests and celebrity presenters including R&B singer Jully Black, fashion royalty Jeanne Beker, Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman, and celebrated fashion designers Jeremy Laing, Philippe Dubuc and Mélissa Nepton.

“It’s an exciting time for the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards, as we celebrate a fifth anniversary made possible by the breadth of talent and diversity in Canada’s beauty and fashion industry,” says Thom Lachman, President, P&G Canada.
